Does the fish oil really help with inflammation?

I get to miss our family Easter due to the fact it's my weekend to work, and they are having it at 12:30 pm. Yep, sleep comes first.
Not that the rest of the family cares. Ugh......
Hugs, Jon

Sorry you're missing Easter.

I don't know how well it helps with inflammation... it's supposed to be overall healthy. When I really need my inflammation to go down, I pop two allieve.

I imagine your Easter dinner will be wonderful. I'm reminded of the when we were in Naples and the "Easter Pie" fixed by the mother of owner of the B&B that we stayed at. I later looked into the tradition to find more about the Neopolitan grain pie or Italian "pasteria di grano". It contains whole grains of wheat, rice, barley or other grain which symbolizes fertility and Spring as the seed of rebirth. It's an ancient tradition dating back to the Greeks and Romans so, the Christian church just adopted it, too, like so many other local traditions. It was very nice of her to fix it, even though, it was already the week after Easter. (Unfortunately for Pecky, this was off his list of things that he could have but, it was fortunate for me as I got to have his piece, too.) In lieu of a tart, this is similar enough that I imagine if you're so inclined, you could fix one of these, too and could easily come up with a gluten free variation. Happy Eostre, Buddy!

A very nice memory, thank you.

I'll be making gnocchi and gnudi. And plenty of greens.
