one thing that happens a lot in politics is that people take quotes out of context. i'm in no way saying that huckabee should even be considered for president, but he's human and probably has a sense of humor. some of those are probably jokes and i think we as a society need to let our politicians lighten up a little. we're so harsh on political correctness that we lose sight of how we, ourselves, talk. however, i think if he were in the oval office he'd need to control comments like that (w. is a great example of an idiot who doesn't know how to shut his mouth when it comes to taking things seriously), until then he's just warming everyone up.

i love reading your entries because you write about things that spark conversation. you rule, but i've probably told you that before.
