Endlessly searching for something to satisfy my Mario Galaxy cravings, I stumbled on Frozzd, a rather simple and fun indie game wherein a lost astronaut leads warm and fuzzy aliens against the threat of the Frozzd empire.

my first instinct is that the loading dialog says "FROZZD...", but that would make the first word in the bottom image "FD?Z", which doesn't make a lot of sense.

On further investigation, there don't seem to be enough unique symbols for it to be substituted english. I only count nine (counting the ¤-like one, which i assume is a full-stop, since it's repeated three times in the loading dialog.)

transliterating some of the symbols into arbitrary letters and passing them through a cryptogram resolver didn't help much either. I have a friend who's amazing with ciphers like this, but he hasn't been online in a while :(
