Last week's minor complication requires a bit of minor surgery, which Dr. Siegenthaler will do later this week, probably Thursday. There's a little under an inch of fluid between my heart & my pericardium. Yay for "back to work"!

I'm hoping that this plays out the way my surgeon says it will-I enjoy vacations, but I love what I do for a living.

It's a stunner, to be sure. I sure wouldn't want to be whoever it is (or was). As it is, the thought of being back on the table ruined my BP for this evening.
