I seem to have discovered another lingering aftereffect of my surgery: A sore spot in the lining around my right lung, which shows up as amazing agony in my right chest muscles, my right shoulder, & the muscles along my right shoulder blade when I am under stress. The pain drives my heart rate & my BP upwards into insane territory, about as bad as

holy shit. that sounds like agony.

Is there something you can do or take to control it? Is it getting any better?

Not a lot. The worst bits can actually shrug off the painkillers that I was issued when I left the hospital. At least it doesn't happen every weekend, which is either a sign that it's healing or that I'm controlling the stress a bit better.
