Ugh, and I'm glad to hear your procedure went well. Happy Anniversary!

Thoracentesis seems to be the procedure of the week for friends and family... Hope it's better soon!

Thank you! Actually, it wasn't as bad as that spinal tap from years before, mostly because this doctor was quite generous with the Novocain. I've been asked to be careful with lifting things, although that went without saying about the pleurisy anyway. I went to work yesterday, & I volunteered at our local science center last night. While I was understandably stiff, I was not in a lot of discomfort. It also helped that the role I played in the show was wheelchair-bound.

Happy Anniversary! Being in your own bed for it is a good thing!

Glad it wasn't worse, but sheesh have they had to drain a lot of fluid out of you since that surgery! Do you know how much in total?

Nobody sleeps well in a hospital bed. I think the people who drew up the standards for them must have made this part of their goal in the standards. Elizabeth & I were so tired that after a celebratory supper, we just headed home & collapsed.

I haven't been keeping a detailed account, but I feel like between this fluid from my lungs & the blood, they've easily pulled out a liter from me, starting in November.

Called my doctors' offices to set up appointments in good faith, found they were all busy in the late PM anyway.
