Kirk got into Cincinnati, I think hes happy about. He called me and told me while i was on my way to work today. It really didnt sink in that he was actually leaving until i got off the phone, and then i started to cry. Im going to miss him so much. Him leaving is only the beginning of everything wrong thats going to to blow up in my face

we need to reconnect. i've been missing you a lot, and it's intensified in the past few weeks. i'm going to try to plan something, nothing fancy or special, just dinner and hanging out or something, here at my place, and i want you and your boyfriend to come. i want you to meet my guys, too.

Don't be sad. You are one of the coolest people I know and I'm not just saying that. You have a natural affinity for learning about people's cultures, experiencing new things/places/foods, having fun, not judging people to early, and being dead sexy. No more crying, you are an amazing person and shouldn't cry. And what if you had redone high school? You wouldn't be you, you wouldn't be Kate. Sure there were some major bastards in your life, but they are gone now and soon enough you'll be able to watch them on Cops--so rejoice at how far you've come. Yes, next year I will be going to UC, but school doesn't start until Sept. 22! So, don't cry, don't be sad, don't wish you were any different than yourself, just live life to the fullest, take everything in and be the best damn Kate Yeager that you can be. Someone has great things in store for you, and don't worry they're a comin'
