Mhmmmmmmmmmmmm... I think it would be very, very hard to actually get him (and not Ms Parker!) open a Christmas card... I'm sure he gets flooded by those!
I thought the "You're loved all over the world"-chain was a great idea, that some fans sent him for his 60th birthday. Cardboard box chain-rings from all over the world with everyone writing down her (or his, of course) favourite Alan-film as well as their address. They got joined to an enormous garland and were sent to him. But even then he didn't answer personally. The "Thank you"-letter was by Ms Parker. :-(
I won't waste another thought on a Christmas card for Alan, therefore. *Sigh*
If he wasn't loved all over the world, he would still have time to answer all his mail personally. But maybe then, I would never have discovered him :) I can understand your resolution not to waste another thought on such though. I will probably never write to him for the same reason. What could I write that Mrs Parker has not read a million times before. The thought of the above card being read by AR made me laugh out loud though. Peek, you should really send this one. Not so funny if only Mrs Parker reads it though. ;)

SQUEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEE
Gosh you did an outstanding job decorating him though I personally think the flower is too much... *ROFL*
Let me see: 10 points for participation 10 points for originality 10 points for creativity 10 bonus points for being first and another 10 bonus points for naughtiness which will give you 50 points in total! Well done and thanks for joining.
That's a GREAT card! And a brilliant idea. Not sure I'll have ideas or the time for it, but I'd sure like to try. Oh and by the way - I would like to get an Christmas card. I think you should have my address already. Tell me if you don't and I'll email you.
Thanks for saying you like to try. LOL Of course you´ll get a Christmas card. I still have your address. I do hope this card won´t take as long as the previous one to get to you! If I remember correctly you notified me it arrived end of January...
