oh. You must be referring to the summer internships that i'm applying for. That's actually a different deal. This little celebration was brought on by my visit to my advisor today that went like this:
me: I've decided that I need to do some research, NOW!
Prof. Destasio: ok, welcome aboard

and NOW=next term and research=looking at ion channels in muscles and nerves of tiny little worms. It will be beautiful.
