And it's Massively Multiplayer Online Role-Playing Game, or MMORPG, so you only missed the R ;)

I'll work on something particularly insulting, and get back to you on it.

It has to go across the whole range of role playing games though. Table top, computer based as well as SCA type role playing.

I dont hold much hope for the quality of the game, but hey, put me down for a blazing sun knight anyways.

I don't know man, they've spent more time developing it that Blizzard did WoW, and they're coming off the experience of having created Dark Age of Camelot and all the feedback of experienced WoW players, I have a good feeling. In fact, I'd be surprised if it isn't one of the the best (if not THE best) MMORPGs of it's time. I'm a little worried about the level of PvP in it, but I've heard reviews from non-PvPers that said the game converted them. So we shall see. Come Spring, hopefully.

yeah, but if development time is the be all/end all of game rating, then I guess Nuke'em forever will be the best thing since big G invented photons.

True, but I haven't seen anything I haven't been impressed with. It seems a little close to WoW, but as a lot of people have said when I've commented on this, is it really bad to copy the best game in the world?

Spambots that troll the internets for addresses are smart enough to trim "nospam" out of things, because everyone adds that in there thinking it will trick them. :P They also know how to turn "whatever at something dot something" into a valid address, just in case you were considering editing to something like that.

Also, WAR does look pretty damn sweet, especially for NEEEEEEEERRRRRRRRRDs like yourself. :) And supposedly will launch with dedicated Australian servers that are actually in Australia, so yay! I'm not gonna rush out and buy it myself, but I might pick it up eventually.

Oh noes! The machines are out smarting us! :)

I say burn them all. We did just fine using marks in the dirt to count.

Yeah I figured as much, but I knew they could pick up the use of 'at' and 'dot', so I might as well try something I hadn't seen as often. I'm not massively concerned since I only use the email address for a couple of band email lists I'm on (and now this yahoogroup), but it's worth at least trying to avoid it.

So anyway, you want on the group or not? ;)

Sure, may as well, even though if I get it, it won't be for quite a while. :) My email address is la_mutt@yahoo.com - don't really care if the spambots get it, it's pretty damn spamtastic already.

Oh, and the Australian servers are also being shared with Singapore (among other places), so I hope you like hearing a lot of Singlish! So pro la~! Kekeke :D
