Been thinking about this for so long. Now I felt I could get it down properly.
A little A/R fluff. With some angsty undertones. Or maybe overtones?
It's short.
Then this is it.
There is nothing left off me.
I'm here. And you are here and there is nothing else we need. We can feed on each other and let time take its course and then you shall leave me lone and I will sit by our stream and look to the horizon. And one day my ship will sail and I will come to you.
I will wait for you.
You have to go now. They are waiting. I know how much you've looked forward to meeting your mother again. It wont take long. I promise.
Promise you will come. Promise you won't leave me.
I will never leave you. You are me and I am you. This was meant to be like this. I won't take long.
And then she sailed. And he stayed. Giving her body a final resting place. He started building that cabin. Every night he sat down looking into the horizon, told her how much he loved her before he went to sleep.
He had finished the cabin. He even put up a small fence. That night he stayed up until sunset and as he sat to watch the sun come up he knew it was time.
She was beautiful.
