Sarah is right there have been orders passed out and so far its only been 10 thats been named off out of a stack full supposedly. And out of those 10 - 5 are going to germany 3 are going to Korea 1 is going to Hawaii and 1 is going to Colorado.
I was told that since Im new to the company there's a chance I might stay but nothing is set in stone in the army so we'll just see.
I do know that Germany and Korea are the 2 number 1 places for soldiers to get sent to, however, Germany is closing alot of their bases within the next few years so I think it would be better off if they just kept me at Fort Hood.
I cannot imagine that they will give up Ramstein or Heidelberg. I have a friend in Ramstein with the AF and one who is a Major in Heidelberg (and he was in Heidenfels and was sent to Heidelberg because they closed his base, so I guess Heidelberg will remain). But he is going to the Pentagon in january anyway ....
Both my friends love being stationed in Germany and view it as a great experience, but they wanted to come here in the first place. And of course, they don't have someone back home waiting for them *smiles*
Look at it from this point of view: better Germany than Iraq or Korea! Of course, Texas would be great, but then, you never know what comes next when you are with the military, right? It's tough.

Speaking of how "wrong" it is because they are happy and how online relationships don't exist and are extremely pathetic. Might I add that I also love the way you "love" Chris in the most hypocritical way. You judge others' because they fell in love and had an online relationship and say how wrong it is. Then you fall in love with somebody you NEVER met. How stupid is that?! How hypocrtical is that?! At least the two that had a short online relationship met a couple times in real life before falling in love. LOL.. I'm not bashing you. You didn't give anybody any shit for having an online/long distance relationship with another like Sarah did. And Sarah's sister doesn't even know the situation, she just wants to judge and criticize and get involved with things that have nothing to do with her. I do wish Sarah had the guts to stand up for herself and apologize for being so disrespectful and causing so much shit and then turning on what she said.
