Just saw the movie Juno. The girl pissed me off. I could just tell from looking at her posters on the wall and her usage of vocabulary that she was supposed to represent a Pitchfork dickrider that follows David Hume objectively and obsesses over Animal Collective and VNV Nation and maybe Missy Elliott for the irony value. 1. Why would someone who reads Pitchfork like a band like VNV Nation? Two completely different scenes.

Twas a good movie though. And Juno did love Iggy and the Stooges.

And it is impossible to like Missy Elliot ironically. She's on constantly at my work and, honestly, that's the one thing that prevents me from making a poly-blend noose and hanging myself.
