I don't usually like always-a-girl fics, but the pairing drew me in, and I ended up really enjoying the story. Kirk is awesome, and I love her friendship with McCoy and her relationship with Uhura. The hint of Spock/Uhura was nicely handled, as well, and gives some interesting insights into how things might have gone in the "real" universe. Thanks for sharing this!

This is brilliant and funny and sexy and all kinds of amazing. I love how Trek fandom has embraced female-Kirk, and I especially love your version, which is very recognizably Kirk while also being very much a woman, confident in her sexuality, intelligence, and skills. And her relationship with Uhura! laskdjf;alsjkadf And Uhura herself! She is so awesome here, and so very human. I love how she and Kirk interact. I love this. Just. <333333333
