Thank you so much! (and sorry for the lateness of this reply). And yes, sucks to be Brendon, getting caught in Winchester family business. Thanks again!
I really like this. I like the feel of it and the emotion in it. But I wish it were a bit longer. Also, what happened to Brendon? Is he still in the coffee shop when Dean and Sam have sex? Did he pass out, or is he watching the entire time? Or did he run away? There isn't really any mention of where he goes or what he does after Sam slams him against the shelves.
hehe just butting in: "...and that's what makes Sam's hands unclench in Brendon's shirt. The kid throws his hands in the air and books it while Sam's still turning on Dean, slowly, deadly."
I'm glad you like this! As maharet points out above, I threw in a line about Brendon getting the hell out of there, but as I reread, I definitely could have made that clearer! Thank you so much for the feedback and for reading!
Oh man, this just breaks my heart in a million ways. Sam is just...LOST and Dean is trying so hard to focus him and be "normal" and it's all just slipping through their fingers. *whimper*
Wow. Excellent dialogue between he boys here, great take on their emotions. I do believe that Sam would be willing to do as much to get his brother back. Also glad to see that Sam's months without Dean has left the appropriate impact on his mental state, from what "Mystery Spot" implied. Great stuff!
If he wanted, he could curl his fingers into the soft back of Sam's skill, twist his palm against the base of his brother's neck. That should be "skull", no?
