Vacations never seem to be as cheap as we think they should be. I was looking at cruises and saw I could get a 4 day cruise for $149. I was like WOW! That's awesome. It was from San Diego to Catalina for a day and then up to Vancouver I think. Pretty cool. With most of the time on the ship.
Then I looked at the other stuff. Like having to fly back. Heck, the plane ticket back was more than the cruise price! Plus you add in drinks and purchases and it adds up fast.
Yeah, it's cool, but the $149/person price soon moves towards the $400/person mark. :(
