This silly little piece of fluff is for shadownyc who challenged me to write a somewhat schmoopy B/J future fic that included Gus as part of the story. I hope this is what you were looking for -- Gus doesn't actually appear in the story, but he is a part of it.

Thank you! I was just checking out some of the Johnny Weir sites, and the thought popped into my head, how would Brian react if Gus turned out to be the next Johnny Weir? And then this little story popped in my head. I'm so glad you liked it!

That was better than I ever expected. As soon as I read "figure skating" I started laughing (I'm clearly quicker on the uptake than Justin *winks*). This was brilliant--and I'm so glad that you kept B/J "in character".

I'm so happy you liked it! I wasn't sure if you would, because it didn't actually have Gus in it... but Gus had so little characterization on the show that I have a hard time attempting to write for him. I'm glad this worked for you. :D

I love it! This totally made my day! I have the hugest smile on my face right now. And you know, Johnny kind of looks like I might imagine Gus looking once he gets older. Especially the hair and eyes.

That was so great! And as everyone's pointed out, you've summed up Brian's entire charater here;

Brian likes the world to think that sex is the most important thing in his life, but the truth is, nothing can stop Brian from answering a ringing telephone.
