The neighbors rottweillor is acting very sick in our back yard. She doesn't look good. Spouse called the neighbor. But, he won't do anything for several reasons: injured dogs bite even if they don't mean to, we don't know what is wrong with her (rabies, parvo, coyote attack). He is afraid if he doesn't anything the neighbor will get violent. ( Read more... )

They were very helpful when we had Nursey and the puppies, but they knew that they could be sent off and adopted. We don't even have any facilities. it is all foster. The animal control people would take her, place her in a kennel & shoot her in three days.

Also if she is in so much pain....If owner leaves go over and put her out of misery. Sorry if that is mean, but it maybe be for the best.

Peggy wanted everyone to know the resolution of the situation, but cannot post at her job.

The owner showed up at midnight & Spouse & he put her in his truck. Apparently she had been gone for a full week & was attacked by a coyote. She smelled of infection. Her front leg had been bitten & was swollen. I think she may have been bitten around the throat. I dont' know for sure, Spouse woke me up to tell me & I haven't spoken to him today. The owner was going to give her a penicillin shot & see how she did.
