I realize this response comes late... I didn't end up getting a sari, but salwar khameez. Very pretty and certainly dressy enough. Peach (I colour I tend to avoid, but one that really does suit my skin tone very well) with lovely beadwork. I bought a necklace, earrings, bangles and bindi at the same place as the outfit because the owner was so sweet.

The ceremony was very exciting for me, and I took plenty of pictures with my parents' digital camera, but my sister has yet to send them. Hmph!
