I've finally found some time to start "Sex and the Country" after a long awaited hiatus. The point is to be controversial, scandalous, and educational. Wish me luck!

I'll have to loan you my commie book. In it, it talks about why slogans like this are useful. It does have an effect on helping people be more committed to the cause. Communists are much better at getting people committed to the cause than Christians.

Even more alarming is how Christians use this term when it is anything but centered around the Gospel (according to the link that you provided). I would guess that the link is secular. However, believers need to understand why they would do something like this, as opposed to abstaining purely on the basis that "they weren't ready for [sex]".

It is grievous to see just how little believers truly understand salvation and reflect on just how bad their sin is. But...there is grace...and through the empowerment of the Holy Spirit we can encourage and strengthen the brethren to pursue holiness that is true and in accordance to Scripture :)
