This sort of outdoor sunny day event photography is really difficult! Although I did practise to instantly reset white balance (sun/shade) at NerdsFC the day before, since I don't have a polariser for my 18-70mm lens, the photos get either overexposed or underexposed (or both at the same time). This is extremely difficult when you ask people for photos - they pose for you, you take a picture, realise the lighting isn't right and try another one, and maybe a third one if the second one doesn't turn out good either. All this time your subject is standing there posing...
I guess next time I'll turn on exposure bracketing.
And I still need to work on going up to people and asking for photos!
