Ice Skating

William took these two:

It was difficult taking photos at ice skating! The rink was dark, so I had to use ISO800-1000, which reduces image sharpness. I couldn't use the telephoto lens because the maximum aperture is too small and I wouldn't be able to get good angles. Taking the camera with me on ice was dangerous and difficult still, since I couldn't use a shutter speed fast enough to freeze action up close. Maybe I should have tried flash.

Also, I probably should have picked a spot with the best lighting and taken photos as people skated past... instead of following behind people and taking shots of their backs.
