i’ve now been in Australia for 1 week + 4 days
try as i may, my accent is shit
when i try to talk australian sentences come out a combo of english, irish, usa southern, & chinese - pretty much everything but aussie
almost all of my time was spent looking for a place to live and dong orientation stuff

apt searching = le suck - a lot -
BUT I have found a place woooooo!!! <3<3<3 and mastered the public transport system :]
it has been really rainy here so I haven’t really taken many pictures & coooold
here is one that reminds me of Russell Peters/ fuji

since I’ve been here I’ve pretty much broken all the safety rules that we are taught as children
i walk around with a map in hand, looking lost almost everyday
I wandered through the dangerous neighborhood , redfern (aborigines live there), alone at night [it was an accident]
I asked random people on the street for directions
i got in a car with a stranger when he offered me a ride: he zipped through little allys & since parking is so limited people park on both sides of the road: 2 lane street => 1 way street -> flow of traffic depends on whoever gets in the middle of the street first
I bet kiki is about to have a heart attack.
yeah. i'll try not to be so stupid & careless from now on

oh my sleeping schedule has been amazing since i've been here
i get up at like 7am-8amish everyday & am asleep by like midnight / 1am
i think it's becuase i'm nocturnal in the states & everything is backwards here :]
