For those interested in primitive camping

I'm thinking about planning a canoe/kayak trip (whichever you prefer), most likely in the U.P. This would include about 3 days or so on the river, camping out along the way. The drive is about six hours to Manistique, which is a good beginner spot and a beautiful area. The trip would probably be later in the summer to avoid mosquitoes

The trip would probably be 5 days total - a day for traveling on each end - so it would include 4 nights of camping. (maybe leave on a thur or fri and come back mon or tues)
