Man beth, that is a bummer. I was just talking to andi about your "new" job. She was telling me about it and I thought, man, I bet Beth is pretty excited about that. Tell ya what...if you gimme the name and address of this "boss" guy, well...let's just say he'll be regretting the day he did not do, all that the phantom asked of yoooooooouuuu. And by you i mean him.

Can I just add one thing...¿ ? Hearing that you can´t serve in that type of position at this point is actually somewhat of a comfort being here. Its hard to be surrounded by so much need and then justify going back to the states and spending who knows how much stinkin money for college when it feels like we should be doing something RIGHT NOW. A lot of people here have been questioning their "responsibility" to go back to school. Some of them may decide not to go back, or at the very least, a lot of our seniors are postponing graduate school plans. And as I personally wonder why I should go back, its a good reminder that especially in the States, there is such a purpose to having a degree, if only because it will open doors in the future that a Christian without a degree could never enter. If you could take that position of service without the degree, where is spending the money on college justified? Basically, that has been one (of billions of) huge question we have debated all semester. It´s really frustrating waiting to be ( ... )

that's cool that you guys have been having that debate... the cost of school is ridiculous when you think about how that money could help people that really need it. but you're right about the other side too - sometimes God's plan involves using that degree to open doors to help people who need Jesus just as much here.
