Random thoughts are random, and in no particular order.
Eee! Omg! It's finally here!
I am puzzled by the differences between the English and German lyrics - it's like we're getting double the songs, effectively. Oh well, not complaining.
Menschen suchen Menschen works better as Human Connect To Human. Same with Kampf der Liebe/Pain Of Love.
Reversely, Träumer sounds much better than Love and Death.
I am relieved that the songs by guest songwriters aren't necessarily the strong ones - so pleased with what the twins + old producer team have written :) I'm also pleased they felt confident enough in their own stuff to make the songs by The Matrix bonus tracks and nothing more central to the album. They're not bad, but they're so generic.
I knew I would find Alien stupid from the moment I heard that bit on the CoC DVD. It's such a lazy song, it seems like they just threw it together, slapped synth beats on it and couldn't be bothered to do more with it. Meh.
On the other hand, Geisterfahrer & Lass uns laufen = ♥♥♥
Für immer jetzt = this album's In die Nacht, y/y? We are one, like yin and yang. Awww ♥ It's also reminiscent of Ich bin da, which I love, so I already adore this song.
On a similar note, if they do Zoom with Tom playing the piano and Bill serenading him, there'll be deaths/spontaneous combustions at the concerts *g* Already looking forward to that.
Girl voice in Geisterfahrer threw me for a loop. For a moment, I thought, wtf Bill? Kinda sounds like Judith Holofernes, but surely it isn't. I wonder who'll do that part on stage.
I can't wait to hear all of this live. :D
I think you can really hear what a huge impact the Gs have on the band's sound on this album. Gustav's drumming is really strong, he has a very precise, forceful beat. So much love :)
Is the person doing the bonus interview that comes with the Itunes version Oliver Pocher??
Humanoid rocks. I love that song.
Omg it's so hard to pick a favorite. Will need to listen on repeat. Tour now plz? :D
strssna, we so need to go together!
What's your favorite song, flisters?
