I've heard this song (http://myspace.com/theexmembers -- click on the second song, "Big Black Goodbye") by Durham band the Ex-Members a couple times on local radio, and have found myself really digging it. totally unrelated but we just got this awesome charlie harper print on ebay for like 89 bucks or something. it's so awesome. circa 1970 screenprint, signed and numbered with a bunch of info on him in the packaging. and that new book by todd oldam just came out too!

Wow! I really like this -- great pedigree, of course! I like that it's nice and dark and that there's a lot of interesting things going on in the mix. Thx for the heads-up. (:

I've been really burned out on everything lately, and this was totally refreshing -- it blew the cranky cobwebs away quite effectively.
