I saw it tonight as well. They showed it in one of the biggest lecture halls, and people were still sitting in the stairs and standing along the walls.

it was pretty amazing how many people came to see it, and the impact it had on a lot of the people in the audience. i found the film to be very good.

im not a huge robert greenwald fan but i know alot about the film. Ive tired to convince staff and cits/aprrenti/muggies to not shop at wal-mart with minimal sucess. Im pretty hardass about never shopping at wal-mart (yet i sadly do have stuff bought for me from there) its def a big issue, the living wage is a big enoguh issue as it is, whether its mcdonalds, wal-mart or sears there all paying big bucks to lobbyists to make sure our government does not raise minimum wage to maximize their own profits.

i agree it is hard, but once you see this movie you will never want to shop there again; they are so cruel to their employees, are ridiculously focused on raising profits and lowering costs by any means possible, and let me tell you, some parts of that movie were tough to swallow...

what im saying is, its not that people want to shop there. in rutland there is just no other choice. but that only relates to camp. i bet that most campies dont shop at walmart during the year, at least i dont.
