My workload has dropped considerably in the last 24 hours. Yesterday I handed in my Independent project paper for Biology, and only 20 minutes ago I finished my paper on Sangamon for FYS. If any of you want to read it let me know and I'll email you a copy.

So tonight was the Guster concert... I'll admit it, I didn't really have high hopes for them, but they put on an awesome show... mad props to their drummer btw, who played a drum/bongo kit with cymbals using his bare hands!!!

So I finished the first draft of my paper on the history of Sangamon tonight, well like 10 minutes ago. It is 16 pages, probably much longer than other people's...uh oh. Today I received in the mail somethng I have been waiting for all week. It was the fifth chapter from the book "Life, Liberty, and the Pursuit of Whatever: a memoir, sort of" written by John "Jack" Dizer, a Sangamon alumni from the 1930's. In it was 6 pages full of memories from his years as a camper, invlauable information for my research paper. ( Read more... )

V FOR VENDETTA!!!!

It was soooo good!
I went with Jeff, Dave, and Yen, who all thought the same and who picked up on many paralells to George Orwell's 1984. Overall just a really good movie, not to mention that Natalie Portman is in it! Anyways, I'd recommend for sure... check it out...
