Once upon a time, I had a record called "Tina the Ballerina." I was maybe 4 or 5. I LOOOOOOOOVED it. I would dance around the living room, spinning and twirling. I had no more grace then than I do now, and once I twirled so hard that I lost my balance and knocked out my two front teeth on the piano bench (baby teeth, fortunately). That was ( Read more... )

Can I have some of your fannish thoughts? I'm having lots of fannish thoughts, but NONE OF THEM ARE RELEVANT / POSSIBLE FOR THIS PROJECT AGH. With less than four weeks less, omg.

Also, I love the dancing. I am so glad you are having fun with that!

Dance. Yeah, it can be this really beautiful thing because someone knows exactly how to do the choreographed moves and is good at it. But it can also be this really beautiful thing because it is simply an expression of joy, delight for some piece of music or even just a feeling, or merely the thrill of being part of this crazy world. You dance, girl! Dance, dance, dance! :)

Dancing! I love dancing, even tho I am definitely not good at it. But the funny thing is that generally, the more you don't care about how good you are, the better your dancing is. The best dancing experiences ever are the last few years' parties at DragonCon. No one cares what you wear or how you dance, everyone's just having a good time.

And, for your dancing pleasure, please enjoy Frank Turner's Four Simple Words. The dance beat is more along the punk "just jump up and down" style, but the "four simple words" are "I Want To Dance" and it ends with the awesome line: "We'll sing like the barricades are down, and we'll dance like no one's around..."
