i love Silent Night as it is done on church for Xmas Eve as well. i also love how my sister is always trying to find the TACKIEST decorations possible each year for her lawn to piss off her neighbors. i also love how, as if by some divine act of fate her neighbors, in turn, LOVE her tacky decorations and have now started emulating her... making her both furious and totally laughing her ass off at their stupidity.

i love how my mom still loves to listen to the same barbara streisand album that we've listened to since i was little and the Elvis Xmas one too.

i love how even though my mom swears EVERY YEAR that she's not getting me anything for Xmas because I'm "too old", she still gets me a present every year to "surprise" me.

:) thanks for sharing your memories... i love Xmas too, even if my memories are not so much relgious, but are more about pissing off the neighbors and listening to torch singers.
