One. The first time Dean met Chloe, he could tell she was something special. It wasn't often that someone came to him with a car that had been mauled by an honest-to-God dinosaur.
Two. Okay, it turns out that she was a super-hero. Forget saving people, hunting things. She was saving people, saving the world, saving more people. He'd discovered it when he’d found her uniform in the trunk. But she'd only told him that she was a communications expert.

Soon he became her emergency contact; the person called whenever her car got into some kind of mangled wreck.

He hadn't found out that she had powers until months later. That was when he opened the trunk and there was a body it. Hers. And while he stared at it, thinking everything from Holy Shit, that's a body, to Holy shit, that's Chloe's body, and trying to cope with grief long enough to do something more than just stare at her, she opened her eyes and sat up.

Instinctively, he pointed his shotgun at her and she'd looked at it and just sighed.

“Put the shotgun down, Dean.” She sounded both tired and unconcerned. Like there wasn't a hunter with a shotgun pointed at her. Of course, he'd later found out about monsters like Darkseid and Doomsday, so he probably wasn't that scary.

When he didn't, she rolled her eyes and leaned on the dented lip of the trunk. “You're going to be tedious about this, aren't you?”

Three. So once he got past the whole Chloe is not a zombie thing, it was pretty much business as usual. Which was good. Because while Chloe healed, the car didn't. Which meant that she was pretty smart for dating someone who was both a hunter and ran an auto shop.

But when Oliver Queen delivered her car to him filled with dead fish he had to draw the line.

“What is this?”

“As near as we can tell, one of the Joker's milder pranks,” Ollie said. “Could be worse.”

“Dead fish?” Dean asked.

“It was found at the bottom of Gotham Harbor. He probably planned for Chloe to be in it. But she had a last-minute assignment up on the moon base,” Ollie said.

“I'm thinking that Chloe needs a replacement car.” Dean crossed his arms. “Surely Batman could pull one out of his utility belt.”

Four. And it was a good thing that the Justice League increased Chloe's car stipend, because there were times that they couldn't even get enough of the thing back to fix. Like the time when Superman dropped her off at his garage one night.

And the kicker was that he couldn't even say a word to her, since their last major argument was over whether he was jealous of Clark freaking Kent. So instead he just crossed his arms and raised an eyebrow as if to say: So where's the car?

To her credit, Chloe did look a little shame-faced. “It got sucked into an alternate universe.”

“An alternate universe?”

“It was - a thing.” She shrugged.

“I'll just take your word for it.”

Five. But most of the time he could deal with Chloe's vehicular issues. As long as she didn't touch the Impala.

“Dean.”

“No.”

“But--”

“No.”

“Then how am I going to get to work?”

“I'll drive you.”
