Oh, I think my theory that Snape is actually Holmes will eventually be proven right. Yeah. I mean, the chemistry experiments and stained finers, the lank hair, the skeletal physique, the logical thinking, the nose, the gayness, the... violin playing? Totally.

The fic's been a pain in the arse because of the wrenches HBP threw, and because it spans a couple of decades and has thus been a biotch to research. *stabs fic* I made some progress over the weekend so one might say there's light at the end of the tunnel.

Re boobs: I was at the gym today and nearly dropped a 16lbs. weight on my foot when the Lady of Perfect Quads (a regular there) came to stand next to me and bent over -- to stretch her legs, alas. In any case, despite my wandering Internet eye, I do think my girly perversions are firmly entrenched in my Id. ;P

There's something awfully doppelgangerish about the pairing, and they both have that sublime handle on the sinister and the Machiavellian.

...yes, I really ought to spread the drabble into a full-blown fic. It'd be half-crackfic, but it'd be fun. Sigh. Resistance is futile. *jots it down to the to-do list*
