I'm terribly sorry for not responding to your Owl earlier. It was terribly kind of you to send me the chocolate, though you really didn't have to. I have some more copies of Vogue, if you would like me to send them on to you.
Also, I found a hot pink scarf on a bench outside of the Leaky Cauldron. I don't know if it's the one Lockhart took from the house elves - how he got into the Laundry in the first place, I don't know - but I handed it in to Madam Rosmerta and told her about the situation. You can always drop by at the next Hogsmeade weekend to see if it's yours.
Thanks to the wellwishers after I was sick. It's nice to know that people are thinking of you.

I wonder if the fact that Parvati Patil's scarf was hot pink and the fact that Melinda Bobbin's cat is now hot pink are connected...
