I just gotta talk.
ok, tonight I asked a question, because I was really wondering about it, but I had to prove something to myself. I asked my friend chris, "is it gay for a guy to want to have a facial?". His response was more of just a blank stare and what followed came a slue of negative sanctions and answers that basically told me that I should never dare trespass in such territory ever again. But here is my conclusion, my dears. As a guy, if you say that facials, manicures, haircuts (at places other than supercuts), are gay, then you must adhere to this: Never again will you ever pay more than the required amount of money for a Watch, a car,a pair of sunglasses, any kind of designer or good looking clothes, shoes, a house with unneeded space. Never again, will you ever spend more than the required time in the mirror shaving, or doing up your hair. Never again will you spray on cologne other than just deodarant or the cheapest bottle of axe. Never again will you make a point of saying that you are GQ or classy. Because, as far as I am concerned, YOU THINK THATS GAY. Reality hits fellas, WE ALL DO THIS EVERYDAY. We spend time making ourselves look good for what? To "sell ourselves". And, I am not saying that in a sexual "selling" kind of way, but in an interview kind of way. We want the edge on everything in life. We want to attract the hottest girls, be seen with the coolest friends, get the highest paying job. Are those things "gay"? Hell no!! Am i wrong? So why can't I spend a few extra dollars making myself look presentable with a facial? In the business world, if you want to impress a client, or show off your company in the best light, people look at your appearance. So, what i say is go ahead and spend that money on getting a nicer haircut! Spend that money on a facial, or creams that make you look good! Buy that designer suit if you can afford it! Do not be afraid to make yourself look AND FEEL good! how will that hurt you in the long run? Thats right. It won't! ;)
