In a lift from the FIT troubles I got an email from the Long Island Academy of Fine Arts (fancy, no?) saying I won second place in there little contest-thingamawhozit in the Portrait category! Woot! Means a half-scholarship to there Classical Drawing class in April. Not a terribly big deal but still cool. If it's anything like Adelphi, I'm happy.

Congrats on getting into LIAFA! But what exactly is going down with the FIT thing? Did you get your app sorted out?

The wrinkles at FIT have, in fact, been ironed smooth. I'm just waiting for the (acceptance) letter now.

Colin Firth is the one and only! But this dude held his own (especially compared to that joker in the Keira Knightley version)
