ARTISTIC LICENSE NOTE: I tend to think of Byakuran as not keeping his memories from the future like the other characters, because otherwise he would still be pretty much omniscient and restraining him would be nearly impossible.

Ah,this was enjoyable, I haven't read 10051 in a long time. It was short but I enjoyed it. It's too bad you didn't make the story longer, it felt more like a beginning to a full blown fanfiction than an end.

Pah, your writing is so not shit, have more confidence! :)

(On the topic of length, I planned out a completely different direction than the story took and eventually I just cut it off because it was supposed to be a drabble and I no longer had any idea where it was going. The pros and cons of writing at 2AM.)

I'm glad you liked it! I was kind of worried it wouldn't really make sense.

Those opening lines were the only part that came out as planned-- I never actually think very hard on all the time paradox things that happen in Reborn, because I feel like I'd just chase myself in circles around theories and inconsistencies, but I do like to bat at it from time to time. I do like the idea that Shouichi is aware of all of this extra time in several different worlds, while Byakuran as he is has no perception of even how the outside world is passing by save the sun's position. Which... I didn't actually plan on incorporating here, but it happened anyway, so.
