I really, really loved the George of the Jungle movie. You know, the Announcer in that movie, an Australian named Keith Scott, is actually the official Rocky and Bullwinkle biographer? He did the voice of Bullwinkle in the 2002 Rocky and Bullwinkle movie. I did a research paper on Rocky and Bullwinkle this semester, and I read his The Moose That Roared. Right-o! Happy belated edit day! Or something. Everything I'm about to say is a suggestion, feel free to ask me about it, etc etc. Let's do this! First, some general content crit.
  • She’s so distracted by how god-awfully bad the coffee is that she almost misses the breakup altogether. - HAHA. Oh, I've done that in reverse and without the almost. Meaning, gotten significant others that way.
  • Dionne bites her lower lip, teeth a brilliant white against her dark skin. - Lovely visual.
  • I'm with David on the "She does know you're a lesbian, right?" line. You could change it to something like "I thought she was okay with you dating other women" or something - less obvious, less holding-the-reader's-hand, and also more relevant to the discussion. After all, there's a world between knowing and accepting.
  • taste like tar drenched in vegemite - Niiiiiiice. I mean, gross, but niiiiiiice.
And now, grammar/spelling party! (Man, that sounds like the nerdiest party ever. I would so be there, though. *is dork*)
