I do like the way this is written - especially as the villain is oblivious and the victim in denial ... love can do that ... I know how the needs of one person in a relationship can be met by the other to that extent that it verges on abusive, although neither party may realise it unless an external party steps in and spells it out for both of them ....
this is very real, honest and extremely well written - good for you ... I'll be tracking this to make sure I don't miss the next chapter :-)

(Also .. couldn't help but notice that you feel this should be 4 instead of 3 chapters and I would advise you to do that if it helps the story flow better - squeezing too much into one logn chapter doesn't always help)

The relationship aspect of this is definitely the hardest part. It's one thing to write a rape story when a character is randomly assaulted by another, it's totally different when those two characters are in an (otherwise consensual) relationship. I think it's going to take Owen knocking some sense into Jack and Ianto for things to really sink in.

yay second installment! I'm so proud of Owen for behaving himself! :)
I really really appreciate how you stress that Ianto isn't a victim. I know this must be a very difficult topic to write about, but you accurately convey the emotions someone in Ianto's position would feel. Actually facing the events itself, holding the aggressor accountable, and accepting help are all difficult tasks to accomplish.

Tosh is more than fantastic, and I love her passive-aggressively pouring water <3
You captured the perfect type of comedic relief without loosing the message of the story and keeping everyone in character.

I eagerly await part 3 (and possibly 4)!!

Owen does know when to be a doctor, even if he is kind of a prat. :P

It is hard to write about. I think I kind of channel my own issues into fanfiction, which might not be the healthiest way to deal with things, but it works for me. The up side is that since I've been in Ianto's position, I know how to write his reaction in a way that's at least realistic, and hopefully in-character.

Tosh is amazing. Just saying.

Hee. I think Owen is the type to handle things with ill-timed comic relief, but I wanted the overall tone to still be sort of serious. I'm glad that worked. :)

Oh wow, I was so excited to see another update.

I thought Owen was particularly good but so was Tosh and Ianto, you are really excellent with the characterisation and with story telling in general, you seem to really know how to lay out your information so that each chapter feels complete but also leaving us readers desperate for more.

Can’t wait to see what happens with Jack, hopefully there will be an update soon but if not, I’m sure it’ll be worth the wait!

I'm glad everyone was in character--I'm still new in this fandom, so I'm a little unsure about writing these guys. But it seems like it's working so far. :)
