eeeeeeee fic.

Actually I sort of agree that a crazy confrontation mightn't be right. Ianto isn't a pushover, but I can see him having the idea that having such a strong obvious reaction would make him into a victim - aside from Cyberwoman his outbursts tend to be of the *tasers you in the face* sort rather than crying and yelling.

Those were my thoughts exactly--just because Ianto doesn't have a freakout doesn't mean he's okay, but he's not a victim, either. I don't see him tasering Jack in the face, though. :)

Thank you for reading!

Oh, and a completely random side-note. Thank you for the proper use (and use of) of semi-colons. =)

I'm a fan of semi-colons, though I do tend to overuse them sometimes. :P In this fic, though, I think I overused commas more than semi-colons. :)

Honestly, I would love to see the overuse (and proper use!!!) of semi-colons. I am an editor, and I see the misuse of them all the time. You a) know how to use semi-colons and b) know how to use commas. Pat on back for you. =D

Brilliant ending, and yeah, even though I might have half wanted a big confrontation (between Jack, Owen and Tosh more then Jack and Ianto) I know that this was the right way to do it.

With the story as a whole I really liked the point of view changes and how the story wasn’t just about Jack and Ianto but the others as well, it added a balance that was really nice.

And I don’t even need to pause before saying yes, yes I would love a sequel!

Not just for the Jack/Ianto but because I think this added a lot to the relationship between Ianto, Owen and Tosh…I would love to see that develop too and then see how Gwen fits into it all.

Now lastly and most importantly - Thankyou for writing and post this story.

Thanks!

The thing with the point-of-view in this fic is that I was trying to do it differently than the usual dub-con/non-con fic. The actual event was from Ianto's point of view, but the immediate fallout and reconciliation weren't, and that's a bit different than you usually see it. :)

The sequel's going to go into the changed dynamic between the team--Owen, Tosh, and Gwen when she gets back from her honeymoon--as well as Jack and Ianto repairing their relationship. :) It definitely develops things more.

Thank you so much for reading!

I really enjoyed this, and I could definitely see it happening like this - Jack misunderstanding and Ianto just letting him, and all the awkward of trying to start putting it back together somehow. And yeah, a sequel would be awesome.

There were a lot of misunderstandings. A lot of the problems with non-con is that people are always like "GIANT VIOLENT EVENT WITH NO DIVISION OF BLAME", but with two people already in a relationship, it gets much more complicated.

Sequel is in the works. :) Thank you for reading!
