I get it...but... if he wouldn't have been hit if he hadn't crossed against a light... he created a dangerous situation. certainly, the truck driver should have been more aware, but dude? wait for the darn light.

There is also missing information in this article. WAS the guy jay-walking?If he was indeed crossing against a light, in a snowstorm no less, then he does deserve the ticket.
