Most unsettling. I've not ever been much for stories.
Did you find this story yourself?

Well, I'm no writer myself, but it was a very impressive tale. You have quite the knack for words and a brutal story.

I appreciate the thought. I only wish I knew the value of this particular story.

It captures the folly of mankind, all right. And quite the ending you've got there.

Thank you, I guess. I think I'd rather have written a different ending.

They seem to dictate themselves, even with a skillful pen. It takes quite the twist to alter that fate.

Unsettling is right. However, I understand that not all stories have pleasant endings. The woman rather deserved it, after all.
I was finished with some of these recent audio books, so I needed another read. Do you have any more stories?

I suppose that's one way of looking at it.
Nothing else here until I write them, I'm afraid. But there's little else to do here, so I'll probably produce something new soon.

There're plenty of ways of looking at stories from different angles. Fairy tales, I've noticed, have that sort of knack.
So you write them? Seems I'll be reading more of your work, then.
