Sky diving

Some people at work are organizing a team skydiving trip. I’ve jumped once before and so I know I can do it but my knees begin to shake at a mere thought of the jump. An immediate wave of weakness shocks through my body and I feel how my pupils enlarge as the notion of a plane is being processed. Without a question, there is a bigger ( Read more... )

it's gonna be fine! don't be scared. Anxiety is normal, but let it be positive. For me the scariest (in a good way) part was the moment the door opens. Now I got to the point when I'm the one opening the door, giving the exit count and diving out the door!! It's awesome!
Where are you going to jump? If it's a big place like Skydive Spaceland, they'll likely have a bigger airplane than our Cessnas LOL :-)) and it should be less intimidating.
Oh and don't forget to arch, relax and breathe. That'll be a great help to your instructor. You guys are probably doing tandem jumps, right?
Anyways, don't freak out, look out the window during climb, enjoy every moment! To rephrase a certain saying, "You only get to do your second jump once!" ;-)
