I never thought I'd come to the point where I would need to watch TV, but sometimes I feel so disconnected from society, that I feel like i should try... you know, to kinda get into the milieu of our times. I chose a reasonably popular television program, Lost, and I tried to watch it until I got the jist of it. jeeze, I must be out of it

did you start from the beginning? hopefully you did, if not, you'll be totally lost and that's not the point of the show. if you are trying to pick it up from where it is right now, forget it, too much has gone down and it'd ruin the past episodes you haven't seen, watch heroes, that show is in the thick of the battle right now, but try to watch it from the beginning, that show is amazing. well so is lost, but it's in it's 3rd season, heroes, a little more than half way through it's first.

i watched like the whole first season. or at least half of it. i just find it amazing that there can be a show on TV that will make zero sense for one whole episode. i mean, i guess they really don't care about getting new viewers at this point.

yeah, i kinda hate that, a lot of shows do that, like 24, i'm barely starting season 2, can't enjoy any of the new shit the same way if i had watched every single minute, of every hour of 24. i think they are on their 6th season, that's more than [24x5]=120hrs.-[15min.of commercials from every hour]=90 hours of jack bauer before you can know everything. that's too much. ridiculous.
