As a side note... I applied for a job in April and they just called me to schedule an interview this week... so that's 2 months. And that was for a posted open position, not just an inquiry.
My brother has been applying for jobs since he moved here in January, and has had ONE interview.
So, don't give up. It's not you, it's the job market.

Thank you for your comments ... it definitely makes me feel better. Job searching is much harder these days because everything is done electronically, and they all say not to contact them (sometimes I don't get an e-mail reply saying they received my resume!). I wish I knew if they were even considering me so I'm not sitting around waiting to see if I will hear back from some companies.
