I have finally found something to fill the gaping void left by the extinction of Global Nomad, the coffeehouse.  More than that, I've found something better.

I had heard that a new coffehouse was going to be opening downtown, but I didn't know when and I didn't know what their hours of operation were going to be.  Fortuitously, I found a card from

The Global Nomad closed?! I never even got to got there.... :(

Bambi took me and Tater to Etcetera today, though. It was exactly as wonderful as you described. I'm friends with one of the people who had like half of the work in the gallery, Amanda Ball. She's quite talented. I especially enjoyed the sign on the refrigerator that said, "OMG! Etcetera is on MySpace!"
