Fry gently in a little oil: -2tsp garlic -2tsp ginger -tsp garam masala -2 tsp tumeric -1 red capiscum finely sliced -small onion
add: -lentils green 4 cups -vegetable stock 4 cups & 4 of water -1 finely chopped potatoe (small)
Bring to boil, simmer keeping an eye that things dont dry out by adding water add: -1 tin chopped tomatoes last minute add -1 cup of peas (frozen is fine)
cooking time about 30 mins in total...
this is my receipe... you can add whatever you like to dahl ... and you can cook it until all the lentils have completely dissolved or are still in their shape......
