Just finished Buffy the Vampire Slayer season one. I definitely like it a lot so far. My favorite pairing so far is Angel/Willow, I've decided. Though Angel/Giles and Angel/Buffy are okay as well. It's kind of weird watching these early eps knowing what will happen eventually (I've seen the musical and a couple other episodes aroudn that time

well willow dates oz but then all this drama happens so they split up and then later on in college or w/e she starts dating tara, so yep, she's a lesbian

In the beginning of the series Willow is definitely straight (she dates Oz, who you'll later meet in S2 as he's the guitarist of the band called Dingoes Ate My Baby). Joss had actually contemplated either Willow or Xander being gay, and you can see the slight hints towards Xander's character during some episode between S2 and S3. But finally made his decision to making Willow a lesbian by having a relationship with Tara.

It's still being debated whether Willow's been bisexual the entire time, so you'll have to judge that for yourself when you see the all the seasons. :)

Hopefully when you watch season 2 you jump on the Buffy/Spike bandwagon. The character of Spike is introduced very early in the second season, the 3rd episode if I remember correctly.

As someone who hates Buffy's character with a passion, loves Spike, and ships the two of them, I hope you join us.

That's pretty cool. I was pretty much chained down to watch the musical one...and a muppet Angel one. Maybe because of that I've never gotten into them although I really do think it would be a good series to get into.
