in chinese culture,the moon always represents the missing of family or family member. that's exactly why people creat the Chang flies to the moon.

Jueju

[jinghuayuan]

This jueju is a gem, surely one of the most beautiful vignettes in all of Tang poetry. I am also fond of this lovely jueju by Meng Haoran:

Chun mian bu juexiao
chuchu wen ti niao.
Yelai feng yu sheng,
Hualuo zhi duoshao?

But Li Bai (also known as Li Bo) and Wang Wei are my favorite poets from this period.
