So Josh has been bugging me to make him a cherry cheesecake since he learned that I could cook (about a year and a half ago).  I decided to do that this week.  While I was staring at pie crusts, trying to decide if it'd be cheaper to buy a premade one or make my own (I think it's cheaper to make my own, quantity wise. Probably about 5 me-made

Hmm, I adore cherries. Course, I like all the weird fruits: kiwi, pineapple, papaya, etc. :]

You know, what you made was obviously a "baked" cheesecake, the hardcore original version of the desert, but there's a no-bake one that mixes sugar, Cool Whip, and cream cheese together (and I think that's all it takes... maybe a bit of vanilla too) and makes the best damn cheesecake you've ever tasted!

You should take a picture of the cuties! I wanna see so I can drool for real! :P

I've never had a papaya before... I like kiwi and pineapple, though. <3

It's really, really good (I got permission to have one, he ate the cherries. ^_^)... I think I should have not been lazy and actually used an electric mixer, because you could taste where there was still chunks of the cream cheese... I like it that way, but I know of a few people that don't. *le shrug* He likes them, and that's what matters.
